Wellness Entrepreneur, Soaming Jeong
I did ballet for six years growing up, and in high school in the States, I was on the cheer dance team and ran sprints on the track team. I’ve been lifting for ten years now, and I’ve dabbled in just about everything along the way: Pilates, group classes like F45, boxing, swimming, rowing. Then I found barre, and I got certified to teach it.
I teach in English so people from all walks of life can take class together, and I teach in Korean too. But my classes go beyond barre. Alongside the movement, I make space to look inward, through journaling, stress relief, and taking care of your mind.
I’ve worked across marketing, education, sales, business development, and community building at a foundation, startups, and established companies. Today, I bring all of that into designing classes with brands and companies.
Next, I want to build a wellness community that spreads good energy to more people and helps everyone find their way back to themselves.
A one-day barre class with Egattoc, a wellness brand based in Jeju.
I pitched this collaboration to AYWA, a yoga studio in Pangyo, and ran the whole thing end to end: program design, brand partnerships, participant recruitment, bringing in guest instructors, and day-of operations.
Right before Chuseok, I brought together people from abroad living in Korea for a barre class. A restaurant in Yangjae let us use their third-floor space, and we wrapped up with a networking session after class.
An intimate class with eight participants. I handled everything from planning and recruiting to teaching.
Back when the metaverse was all the buzz, I led a workout session in a virtual space.
A six-month sculpt and mat Pilates group I created and ran, with 24 women.
Every program starts with your goals and your people. I’ll design the rest around them.

One-day classes for individuals, in English and Korean. All levels welcome.
Mix and match what works for you.
Whether it’s a program for your team or a class just for you, I’d love to hear from you.
